Walk-ins Welcome — No Appointment Necessary!

Where: 442 Main Street, Beacon, NY
Municipal parking lot directly across the street

When: Weekdays 11 AM – 5 PM | Weekends 11 AM – 3 PM

The Run Down:

• Bring up to 2 plastic totes or laundry baskets of clothing, shoes, and accessories per day.
• Current season only — see our Seasonality chart below.
• After items sell, you’ll earn 40% of the sale price for items under $200 and 50% for items priced $200+.
• We specialize in mid-to-high-end pieces, with an average price around $35 (most range $25–$65). If you have questions about pricing, just ask at drop-off!

How To:

• Items must be washed, wrinkle-free, right side out, buttoned/zippered, and free of stains & pet hair.
• If you bring items in a bag, we’ll ask you to lay them flat in one of our store-provided 64 qt bins.
• We’ll sort and return anything with stains, holes, or styles that don’t fit our current needs.
• We must accept at least 5–10 items to open a consignment account.
• Please stay in-store during drop-off — it only takes about 20 minutes.
• Left items will be donated.

What We’re Looking For

We’re all about quality, style, and good vibes.

• Women’s: Ages 16 – Infinity ♾️ (Some of our faves: Anthropologie, Free People, Reformation, Christy Dawn, Sézane, Everlane, vintage & similar)
• Sizes: Typically Small – Large (4–10) sell best
• Children’s: Newborn – 10 (favorites include: Mini Boden, Hanna Andersson, Zara, Crewcuts, Baby Gap)
• We do not accept Men’s Items

Seasonality

• Feb – Apr: Spring
• May – Jul: Summer
• Aug – Oct: Fall
• Nov – Jan: Winter

We Don’t Take

• Fast fashion brands (Shein, Fashion Nova, Forever 21, etc.)
• Suits, business wear, or formal gowns
• Men’s Items
• Tarnished or poor-quality jewelry or handbags
• Shoes with more than minor wear (please clean prior)
• Preemie clothing, burp cloths, or plain onesies/leggings

How It Works

• We accept, price, and sell your items. Once sold, your share is automatically credited to your account.
• Earnings: 40% for items priced under $200; 50% for items $200+.

Payout Options

• Cash in-store anytime for balances under $50.
• Check by mail (request up to once a month): email: info @blackbirdattic.com.
  Checks are issued by Chase Bank in a plain white envelope — please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery after request

Loss & Quality Control

• We do our best to safeguard your items, but Blackbird Attic is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft.
• Items found with stains or damage during the 90-day period may be removed and donated without notice. (Note: items will be marked in your account with DMG, and will be held in backroom for one month before donation, we do not contact you.)
